THE EQUALS







Prologue 



March 22 2027



"...And as of today there will be no more anger, no more hatred, no more chaos in America. There will be peace and security in all of the colonies, in all of America. The government met yesterday and decided that the equalizer will be put into all of the colonies next year 2028 January first. The equalizer will tell the Top Office if someone has a want, or craving for blood, murder, crime and so on. The Top office will take them away to test them. If they pass they get to go home. If they do not, well, they are killed..." The news woman said from the television.

That was a history making moment. That was the day that the government tricked all of America. That would be the start of a new type of chaos. 

Ten years prior to this the government decided to add a higher part of government called The Top Office. The Top Office basically makes most of the laws and rules in America. Once they were put into place a lot of changes started to happen. 

Five years after the Top Office was set in stone, the government as a whole decided to put everyone into colonies. There were 45 colonies altogether. Each colony was to be split in half. On one side all people over 21 and little kids from 0-5, and on the other all people from 5-21. Colonies 1-5 were the richest colonies, they were all consisted of the government. Colonies 6-15 were rich, the rest were middle class except for colonies 35-45, they were poor. That went into effect immediately. Also, all of the colonies were evenly spaced out with 500 miles in all directions.

That is all about to change. Now, in 2163 there is a group rising. It's rising against the government. They have plans. They have big plans. They do not want to succeed, they need to succeed! They are The Equals!
