The Greatest Treasure

The Greatest Treasure

A Poem by Joshua Cornil

You are a treasure,
so tender,
so mild.
Still you do not break,
Can not be made fake.
Once you have it,
You world's so bright.
And when it's gone,
Your heart's dark as night.
No feeling to compare,
No disguise,
It's simply bare.
The world will search,
Like a lung needing air.
Tis not kind,
So few will find.
No ships,
No caves,
No confusing maze.
This treasure is not bound,
Look into you heart,
And maybe,
Just Maybe,
It will be found.

BEAUTIFUL. My favorite by you so far :) your simplicity is striking. What I liked most was the world searching and everything after that
