crazy, superhuman concrete ceilings,
inpenetrable, superman, super seeds will supercede
intraocular improvisation condemnation
spinning bubbles,
concrete healing, holding
molding underneath,
growing darker by the day,
burning in the cold-
blackening
and breaking off
blood will be the only warmth
pain will be the only emotion
praying for someone
and small insects come
nibble slowly
decomposing
melting in the heat,
eggs are laid
prayers are said
they begin building
on that spot
and they kill it with
tire tread.
the stomach was filled with maggots.
