C'est la Vie

C'est la Vie

A Poem by Josh Mattheu
"

Accepting that romance is not for everyone.

"
Yet another goodbye, yet another devastation
I’ve been feeling like I’m sick, feeling wasted
This is the way it has to be
I’m not confident, but I’m not coming back
I needed help from sinking, help from failing
But this love has made me a dead man walking
Yet another jewel dropped in the sea
I’m not confident, but I’m not returning
Such a path seemed an impossible one for me,
But now I’m gone, far away from before
Heading into the fray, today’s the day
Doing things I don’t like doing only to keep doing
Yet another girl, yet another friend
Mouth full of powder, yet another “just that”
Now the pulse beats as strong as before
I don’t plan on seeing any of you any more
I’m gone, to a place you’ll never be
Don’t pull back, for this is it
That is life, life is such
