Beautiful love, be it my horror. By Joshua Huggins.

Beautiful love, be it my horror. By Joshua Huggins.

A Poem by Joshua N Huggins
"

a poem of a break up and the feeling of loosing such love

"

She is a siren, her voice the one and only

Carries with such clarity through the oncoming winds

My mind is absent from the brain

My heart overrules my flesh

I’d search through the whaling hurricane

Lost in euphoria of a voice sublime

In belief I have found a love that is fresh

She is T tigeress, the one and only

The raw strength of her grasp

How she holds on without a thought

The claws puncture and wound

She squeezes, I’m having to gasp

She is ferocious and wild and will never be caught

She is my love, the one and only

Her skin is clear as the perfect day

Her soul flutters as does a dove

She is radiant as a summer day’s ray

She is gone with my heart she stole away.

I ask those whom shall ever seek a woman’s heart

It’s flaming with fire, yet only warm to the touch

is it love you truly seek?

or for your future much less bleak?

Darling, I know I do love you

I know that now, here

To be true

i'm still in bloody love with you

What is love but a deadly horror cloaked in pink

Where oh God is thy perfect link?

Be I not worthy of a loving heart

I knew i'd be lonely right from the bloody start.
