People are Crazy

A short realistic piece on what's considered normal today.

She glances upon the semi-attractive male with the gelled-up hair, glimmering diamond stud earrings, and the not exactly muscular but not scrawny physique. At the end of her sharp swift look she claims him. Sending the feelings of everybody else into the dark void of "nope".  That is not normal

He used to be the close friend that was always around, like they were attached at the hip. But then he disappeared like a thief in the night, when in reality he just stays indoors playing his tedious games. Leaving his "friends" in a whirlwind of confusion and solitude. They sit upon there throne of lonesomeness reliving the cheery-sweet memories of the past since he left.  This is not normal.

 He levels people's emotions to the ground. He looks down upon his victims from his mountain of torture. A simple move of the mouth demolished his foes, leaving them with a shattered self esteem.  This is not normal. But in today's society that we live in today.... does a shred of normality even exist anymore?
