The pain: after the end

The pain: after the end

A Poem by Deepak joshi
"

Memories of the past, which remains untouched. This is the third and the conclusive part of trilogy," Two distant stars".

"
Once you and I were together
And that time our relation had a spark,
But today I'm on my own, all alone
Drinking, smoking, and sitting in the bar

Madly waiting to hold your hand
So that we can go too far,
But you are not here for me
In this world, full of chaos and made of glass

I still can’t accept that we’re not together
That time has made us apart,
But I still hope someday you’ll come
And the happening of good things in my life will start

But I know it’s hopeless and You’d be busy with that other guy
Running in the streets, enjoying your life and going to the park,
You would’ve moved on with that guy
But you left us behind, and our relation as a scar

Now I’m crying, fighting, screaming for you
And trying not to tear apart
I did my best and have controlled my mind
But What am I supposed to do about my heart?

That still beats restlessly for you
Whenever it hears your name; written on my every blank part
It wasn’t you or me, that we ended up like this
It was the fault in our Stars…
