We can be happy

We can be happy

A Poem by Joseph M. Shea
"

A childens song, just for funny

"

We can be happy

We can be happy

Put on a smile

We can be happy

For a while

We can be happy

No need for worry

No need for tears

No need to hurry

As we've done for years

Foget your troubles

Forget your cares

It jus makes the double

And while we are here

We can be happy

Put on a smile

We can be happy

For a while

We can be happy

No need for yelling

No need to shout

And there's no telling

How it well work out

There's always tomarrow

For dream to come true

Don't reach for the sarrow

Let the love fill you

We can be happy

Put on a smile

We can be happy

For a while

We can be happy

I know that your hurt'en

But on things for sertion

Baby its not all on you

So put up a fight

Who know maybe your right

And some how we'll get though

We can be happy

Put on a smile

We can be happy

For a while

We can be happy

yes we can be happy

we can be happy

I wrote this song over the yelling of my dauther. She ended up sing it after a whlie.
I always wanted to get a kids chorus to sing it, But never found one.
It's silly song but so was be happy, witch it sounds nothing like. Thanks

Joseph, Quite apart from writing, I love all forms of art including music. My first thought on reading your lyrics was I would love to hear the song. It's such a pity they can't do it on here. Yes it's happy and it's a triumph of smiles over tears. Keep your senses open, keep on writing and keep on singing all day long. It's worth it in the end. I do like this piece. It's intimate and it's pure you. In my opinion as writers or lyricists, 'being you' and telling everyone is what it's all about. Otherwise what is it all about? With my best wishes, James
