An Angle In My LifeA Poem by Joseph M. SheaA Song for my daugherAn Angle In My Life (a song for Michelle)
The Lord gave me an angle And put her in my life Gave to me a reason to believe That it would be alright I'm more than I've been And more than I could be And it's more than I could ever say What she mean to me
I had to sing about it She make me feel so proud There an angle in my life I say it out and loud
The time we spend together The moments that we share Now I know what love is And what it mean to care She shows me how to live it How to love and let it go How to take and give it How to feel and let it show
And on a stormy night I hold her tite And sing a lullaby There's nothing to be afaid of Now Angle don't you cry I know she just a child With a warm and caring heart She all that I could hope for Remainding me all that I forgot
