Seas The Moment

Seas The Moment

A Poem by Joseph M. Shea
"

Making the best of life

"

Seas The Moment

Don't tell me, that your happy being sad

Don't tell that your not mad

Don't tell me your careless lies

Don't tell me, Don't compremise

The moment

Not this moment

Are you going to sea this moment

Or are you going to let it pass you by

I was standing in a smokey bar

I was playing my guitar

I got up on stage and I stuck a cord

Got a drink that I couldn't aford

At that moment

Not that moment

Are you going to sea the moment

Or are you going to let it pass you by

Don't let it pass you by

I shouldn't preach

God knows I shouldn't swear

But don't tell me that I shouldn't care

I see your pain and your poor heart brake

I see your tears and your hands shake

For the moment

For this moment

Are you going to sea the moment

Or you going to let it pass you by

Don't let pass you by

This sounds like a song to me... Besides some spelling mistakes, this is a pretty cool poem. Well done.
