Streets Of Desire

Streets Of Desire

A Poem by Joseph M. Shea
"

A love story, Inspired by Smiple Twist Of Fate

"

On The Streets Of Desire

Well I'm on my way

Walking down the streets

Of desire

I can feel the heat

Smell the smoke

From the fire

Around the corner she may be

A lovely lady waits for me

On the streets of desire

Poeple pass me by.Sad eyed

Chashing shadows

I stop and ask them why

But they keep to the straight

And narrow

I wonder would she even know

By any sign that she mite show

On the streets of desire

I have my life you have your's

And lonelyness is just a cause

On the street of desire

Well I'm on my way, But I can't stay

Out here forever

If I didn't beleive that we could be

Some how togother

But you'll go you way,I'll go mine

Day dreaming is a wast of time

On the street of desire

Walking on the street of desire

Desire
