Streets Of DesireA Poem by Joseph M. SheaA love story, Inspired by Smiple Twist Of FateOn The Streets Of Desire
Well I'm on my way Walking down the streets Of desire I can feel the heat Smell the smoke From the fire Around the corner she may be A lovely lady waits for me On the streets of desire
Poeple pass me by.Sad eyed Chashing shadows I stop and ask them why But they keep to the straight And narrow
I wonder would she even know By any sign that she mite show On the streets of desire
I have my life you have your's And lonelyness is just a cause On the street of desire
Well I'm on my way, But I can't stay Out here forever If I didn't beleive that we could be Some how togother But you'll go you way,I'll go mine Day dreaming is a wast of time On the street of desire Walking on the street of desire Desire
