The Suns Goodbye

The Suns Goodbye

A Poem by Solitary_Streets

The Suns’ Goodbye

The soft hushed wind I can touch with my hands

Soft whispers, and soft honey eyes

The matching whistles from the hotel and sand

The despair I feel from the grisly goodbyes

The grief is relieved by your vacated mind

You've opened the world, and sun to me child

The wind feels like water, drowning the time

The sun is now my king, awaiting arrival

A very soft but sweet write. I really liked it. Valentine
