Lose Control

Lose Control

A Poem by Solitary_Streets

Lose Control

The snake

so long and jagged

He schemes

Wraps his strength around the necks

Just so they can no longer breathe

Takes them by the throats and

Makes them squeal at sights as

Light starts to frown

Deranged his master cooks his time

Never lets him hear a sound

Lying streets

Bare with subtle requests

Noble

slithering, just for kicks

They steal from the childrens beds

Now

Nighttime passes,

They’re losing

Control again

Sit with me my passenger

And

Lose

Control

From

Them.
