How many times we go through life judging books by their covers, so much we judge based on the first appearance, often going no further in contemplation of what may lay there beneath the surface. One might see the dog, judge the dog mean, based on their own experiences or perhaps what they have heard.

Unfairly, we do this in life - whether to dogs, to books, or to anything that we might come across. It is up to us to see beyond that cover and to find what rests beneath the surface; otherwise, we are subsisting upon but tidbits of the potential possibilities that await us...
