Living With Death

Living With Death

A Poem by Joseph D. Smith
"

I once died, but was somehow still alive...

"
Pure darkness and death
came without the deepest breath.
I found myself awake.
Although it wasn't a wake,
Darkness had surrounded me,
I was just pure consciousness,
But my thoughts, they would flee,
Leaving only awareness.
This energy I could not begin to harness...

Author's Note

Joseph D. Smith
I tried to explain something that is unexplainable, such as being dead, but at the same time being awake, without any thoughts or bodily functions. Forgive me if I couldn't paint a good picture, that's all I'm saying.
