alien by day, philosopher by night

alien by day, philosopher by night

A Poem by Joseph Scott
"

as i promised :)

"
lips so happy
smiles so big
eyes so alive
a soul rests beneath

as a day job
she could be famous
or an alien from a far away land
as a night job
she sits on a tree branch
wondering what lays within the stars

i begin to wonder
is this a world for me?
where our imagination runs so free
that we have kangaroos and emus
defending our own business
pecking through crowds to see who will buy

pointing at the skies
we question who questions
beyond our own comprehension
another world where you and me already exist

it doesnt take much
one of happy birthday
and from that day
the world has changed forever

in this changed world
are lips so happy
smiles so big
eyes so alive
a soul rests beneath

i begin to realize
this is a world for me
