Say No

i wrote this on the way to visit my mother once, on the train to taree. it all just popped into my head and i started writing

Say no - Joseph Scott

Have courage to say no
When your friends become your foe
Be a man and just let go
But sometimes is hard to resist

Your friends ideas of fun
It might end with a gun
Then things that could happen might be done
Just Stand up and run
Be a real man and just say no

The chaos they create
You thought he was your mate,
Something you should rate,
Just walk through the gate,
Don't leave to late
Your just their piece of bait
Be a real man and just say no

Keep hold of your pride
Don't go for that ride,
They say they will be your guide
You don't have to follow to be by their side

The chaos they bring you should just surrender and leave before the damage is done

It's only takes time
To make this rhyme,
Of an opinion that will always be mine
To tell you what's right
So you know to say no when they might bite
It should be clear in your sight
Be the man you are and say no
