I Pity the Algorithmic People

I Pity the Algorithmic People

A Poem by Jose
"

Jealousy

"
I pity the algorithmic people,

The algorithmic poets,
Who sing in tune with the background chorus,
Whose writings align with the common narrative.
Who fail to see beyond what's told to look

The algorithmic scientists,
Who tweaks the numbers,
Shift variables while the idea stands still.
Who follow the path already carved.

The algorithmic artists,
Who conforms to themes prescribed,
who shade to mimic what is topical,
that fall into the magical words that others defined.

Will they ever know the joy of creation?
The thrill that makes you hop miles in a trance,

When you stumble upon an original solution,
An unknown interpretation that is solely yours,
An unheard idea born from your depths,
An unexplored way to make your vision real.

Will they ever know the bliss of pure creativity?
I pity you, the algorithmic people.
