Deja Vu

Deja Vu

A Poem by Georga

That sense of deja vu…

Is it telling what is to come,

Showing what has been,

Or playing on a fantasy?

Were you mine in another life?

Did I hold your hand

And kiss your lips?

Did you hold me

And keep me safe at night?

That sense of deja vu…

Where dreams and reality meet

Blurring all the lines

And questioning reality

Makes the heart ache

For what was and what might be.

For just one instant

A dream become real,

Just out of reach.

Then it vanishes – untouched

Deja vu…
