White Noise

White Noise

A Poem by Georga

White noise
That is what you are
To me
White noise
Always there in the background
In the shadows
Haunting…
I find myself
Wondering
In the darkness
Of the night
What if?
Did we miss out on some thing
Or is this all that was meant to be?
White noise
Almost as deafening
As pure silence
Saying nothing
Yet everything
Cutting my soul

What was that Bowie/Lou Reed thing? "White Noise, White Heat?" A Don DeLillo novel too, maybe about audio pollution, haven't read it, tho' his The Body Artist rules.

I'd develop this more. Good beginning.
