Kat sends Blake a heartouching message and finds out what's good for her heart.

I walked into the kitchen. "So you don't like Austin?" I smiled. "Shut up, I don't!" I laughed. "Hon I think you do." "Dad you're supposed to be on my side." "I am, but just some words from the old and the wise." "Old is right I don't know about wise." Kels said laughing. My dad smiled. "Anyways, if you like somebody don't hold it back, go after them and love them as much as possible before they move on, don't push them away." I smiled. "Thanks dad." I gave him hug. I started toward the door. "Where are you going?" Kels asked. "I have something to do." I walked outside and picked my phone up and dialed Blake's number. It rang and rang and rang. "Hey you reached Blake and I either ignored you call or am doing something important." "Hey uh Blake it's Kat, I just wanted to tell you, I'll always love you, and I do I really do miss you, you deciding to go into the Army broke my heart at first but I'm happy for you, you were my first love and everything but I think it's time I moved on for me. To be healthier. I love you kid stay safe out there. Call me when you can." I hung up the phone. I ran over to Austin's house and knocked on the door. "Hey Bud." "Hey Booger is in the back passing the football with Austin, I'll go get him." "No, I'm here for Austin." "Ok I'll go get him and oh Booger wanted to stay the night if that's cool?" "Yeah that's fine, and thanks." Bud ran to the back and got Austin. Austin came to the front door. "Well, well what do we have here?" He said smirking. "Can we talk seriously talk, no joking?" He stopped smiling. "Sure lets go for a walk." We started walking. "So what's up?" "So Blake joined the army." "What, damn what about USC?" "He said he needed to get away and live his dreams." Oh damn sorry." "Yeah so I called it quits for good, I mean I will always love him but I need to move on for the good of me." "That's good, I mean not losing him but moving on." "Yeah so about us, like what's going on?" He turned to me and stopped walking and grabbed my hand. "Us, I want there to be a us if you let me." I looked into his eyes. "Austin I like you alot and I want to give us a shot." "Lets do this then." "Promise me something." "Anything." "Promise you'll put 100% into us and love me and care for me and support me and never give up." Baby I swear to love you no matter what hold you when you cry and smother you in kisses when you laugh. "Were really doing this." I smiled. "Yeah we are and I'm not giving up or flirting with random girls I meet at the airport." I laughed he kissed my neck. I felt a shiver go down my body. "Don't do that?" "Don't do what?" He winked at me. "Kiss my neck or wink at me it makes me weak kneed." He laughed. My phone rang. I looked down at it, it was a message. I grabbed it. It was from Blake. It read. "I got your voicemail, it broke my heart to hear you are moving on, but it made me smile because were only toxic for eachother. Kat I love you so much and always will, I will always miss you. You made me smile no matter what and held me when I cried. You gave yourself to me and I told you you were my first I lied I had sex with Amber the two weeks we'd broken up in 10th grade, but you  were by far better. I hope Austin and you make things work, and he treats you a hell of alot better then I did. I love you Katherine Diane. You make me smile. I will be carrying a picture of you with me in Afghanistan to remind me to breath and relax like you taught me. This is forever. All love Blake." I found myself crying. "Hey it's okay baby."
