Kat wakes up and gets a letter that breaks her heart, and will her and her dad come to mends?

I woke up the next morning with a rocking head ache. I heard my phone ring. It was Austin. I ignored it. Last person I wanted to talk to. I also saw a letter. It read, "Dear Kat, Hey, by the time you get this I will be in Tennesse. I just wanted to say I'm not mad at you. I love you still dearly. You were my first and my first love. It has been 4 long amazing but yet hard years. I never thought I'd be breaking up with you. I thought I was going to marry you. My dad, Teddy said once you moved to LA we wouldn't last. I laughed because I thought we were stronger then this, and could trust eachother. Clearly they were right and I was wrong. I cheated on you, and you cheated on me. But I hope you have a good life in LA and call me sometime Kat, oh and if you do end up with Austin I wish you two luck. I will always love you beautiful. If you ever need anything I'm here. Sincerly what was yours, Blake xo." I heard a tear hit the paper. I immediatley picked my phone up and dialed his number. Straight to voicemail. I called his house phone. "Hello." "Teddy where's Blake?" "Who is this?" "Kat." "Oh hi I miss you!" "I miss you too, uh where's Blake?" "Oh he was just here but he went out to the woods to clear his head." "Ok does he have his cell?" "Nope he left it here, it's dead." "Ok have him call me as soon as he gets home." "Okay no problem." "Thanks bud." I hung up the phone. I walked out my room and headed to the kitchen when I saw my dad and Austin standing outside by the pool. I walked out there. "Hey guys what's is going on?" "Uh your dad called me over here to talk." "Why'd you call me this morning?" "To talk." "Dad what's going on?" " Nothing serious, I just wanted you two to both know I am not mad at either of you, I know things happen you both were drinking and sh*t happens." I felt a weight come off my shoulder. "It was a mistake." I said , Austin clenched his jaw. "Right Austin?" "Yeah." "Ok well if you two decide to date I'm okay with that, now I'll leave you two to talk." My dad walked off. "So a mistake huh?" "Yes it was , I lost my brothers respect and my boyfriend." "Ok you know you kissed me!" "I was drunk, and then you told all your buddies we slept together." "No we both were and no they assumed and I cleared that up." "Whatever." I went to walk off he grabbed my arm. "Can we start over?" "You have a girlfriend." "Not for long." "Yeah we can be friends now goodbye, leave my house!" Austin stepped back. "Now!" I yelled. He walked out the gate. I walked back in. "Hey where are you going?" "Across the street w***e." "Hey watch how you talk to your sister!" My dad yelled. "Why are you going over there?" "To toss the football around with Austin's little brother." "Ok have fun." "Whatever." Booger slammed the door. I sat on the stool and put my head down. "It's okay honey he just is upset." "Dad he hates me." "No honey he doesn't just pissed off." "Dad he brought you cheating on mom right before she passed away up lastnight." "He still remembers that?" "Yes dad." "Sh*t, I'm a fuc*ed up parent." I grabbed his hand. "No you're not." "Blake ended things huh?" "How'd you know?" "I'm the one who he gave the letter to give to you." I felt tears coming. "Yeah he did." "Hey, hey don't cry it'll be okay." "I'm going to go get dressed." "Want some money to go shopping?" "Yeah please will you?" "Yeah I'll transfer 400 over." "Thanks." I turned the shower on and let the warm water hit my back. I stood there for a good 20 minuets. I finally got out and brushed my hair and threw some clothes on. "Alright dad see ya love you!" I yelled leaving the house. "Love you too!" I heard him out the window. I jumped in my car. I heard my phone ring. I hurried up and grabbed it thinking it was Blake. It was Kels. "Hello." "Oh my gosh Kels how's LA?" I laughed. "Good it's good." "So what's up with you and this Austin kid?" "Great everyone knows." "No Blake came over here crying this morning. "I cheated on him with my neighbor who I met on the plane which I didn't know he was my neighbor and we got drunk last night and we made out and Booger caught us half naked." "So did y'all you know bang?" "NO!" Kels laughed. "I miss you b***h." "I miss you too." "What are you doing right now?" "Nothing about to hit LA." "Are you driving a white BMW?" "Wait how'd you know?" "Turn around." I turned and saw Kels standing in my yard. I got out and ran to her. "Oh my gosh what are you doing here?" "Well I was already here, I came with Blake and then y'all broke up and he left this morning after he cried to me at my hotel." "Oh my gosh are you staying here?" "Yes and guess what?" "What?" "My parents said I could stay here with you for highschool and your dad said yes also!" I yelled and jumped on her. "Oh my I'm so happy." "So is that your hot neighbor?" "No that's his little brother with Booger, Booger called me a w***e this morning." "What the fu*k are you serious?" "Yeah." "Damn you need shopping and a bestfriend asap." "Holy yes I do." We hopped in the car and drove around LA for 5 hours and bought so much s**t. We finally got home. I walked in laughing. "Hey honey!" I looked over and saw my dad and Booger and Austin and all of his family. "Um hey guys, I didn't know we were having dinner." "It was late planned." Kels and I sat our bags down and walked over to the table. "Uh this is Kels my friend from Tennesse, she's going to be staying with us." "Hi Kels, I'm Austin." "Hi Austin." She smiled too hard. I pinched her side. "This is Austin little brother call him Bud, this is his mom Lauren and dad Mike." "Hi nice to meet y'all." "Sit sit please." My dad said. "I left a seat open by Austin." Booger said smiling at me. "Thanks." I sat down and Kels sat by me. "Is that Austin?" She whispered. "Yes." "Holy sexy." "So Kels will you will be attending Canyon High also?" "Yes I will." Kels fake smiled. "That's great I have a few football buddies who'd bang you." Austin said smiling and winking at me. "Austin Michael Smith." His mother said. "Young man apologize." His father said. I laughed. "Sorry it was a joke." "It's okay." Kels said. "So Kels, Kat do you guys play any sports?" Bud asked. "Yeah I cheer." Kels said. "I play volleyball." "Good Canyon High has a great athletic program." "That's why my boy is the quaterback." Austin looked down. My phone rang. "Excuse me I have to take this." I ran to the backyard. "Hello Blake?" "This isn't Blake." "Teddy why are you calling from his phone." "Because he never came home from earlier, and he isn't where he said he'd be and no one can find him." "He might've went to Nashville." "No he hates that place." "True, did Sheriff Canes look?" "Yes the whole dept looked." "Ok well I'm eating my dinner, text me the details okay babe?" "Ok." I hung up. I walked into this diner room. "Is everything okay honey you look worried." My dad said. "Yeah uh I'm fine they just can't find Blake anywhere he left his phone and Canes said he's no where to be found." "Is he okay?" "I don't know, can we not talk about this right now?" "Yeah that's fine." We sat and ate and talked. The Smith's went home. Booger, Kels and I cleaned the kitchen. I finally laid down on my bed when my phone rang. "Hello?" "Kat?" "Yes?" "It's Blake." "Blake oh my gosh are you okay?" "Yeah um did you get my letter?" "Yes." "Are you okay?" "No not really, I miss you." "I miss you too." "Please come back." "Can't." "Why not?" "I'm not going to USC." "Where are you going and where were you?" There was a pause. "I enlisted in Nashville." "Enlisted in what?" "The Army." "What Blake you said you weren't you are throwing your whole life away." "No I'm throwing everyone elses away, I got to go, I love you." " I love you too, wait." He hung up. I threw my phone.
