keep tryingA Poem by jordan lynn
Flickering light beneath the heavy trees I see through my window, as I’m carried by nothing but my thoughts. Sideways reflections and false accusations Mirror painted images of unrealistic fears. Beer and cigarettes consumes the man Who feasts on his own flesh Empty passion, lying eyes, starving hearts Regeneration never takes place in the night But rather temptation and defeat Trust me I know Me the least of these, I’ve been falling for sometime Half empty gas tank, half a*s failure Keep walking shoeless boy, the moons light is more sufficient then you know © 2008 jordan lynn |
