Sea and Symphony

Sea and Symphony

A by Jordan Perili

You are the greatest symphony that brings me to my knees,

Like a tear on the cheek of the sea,

You sink my woes,

Now memories only matter that have traces of you,

I am wandering, I’ve been wondering about the truth,

The piano is piecing together the soundtrack of a new,

New me, decorated by you,

Old things become washed, orchestrated hearts

Of two, one played by me, the other played by you

Now memories only matter that have traces of you

The air is light around me; I’m losing my sight,

As the day fades down to a night,

You hide my scars,

Now memories only matter that have colors of you,

I am looking; I’ve been looking for the truth,

The movie is playing the pictures of a new,

New me, alongside you,

What was once misplaced, orchestrated by a face

Of one, played by you, to orchestrate me,

The long lost composure, you have rewritten my symphony

I am now in closure,

Rewriting the long lost composure

Of my bittersweet,

I am lost at sea,

You are the greatest symphony of me

I am a tear on the cheek of the sea

A poem overflowing with great and powerful emotions of love and attraction. Lots of images that seem to fit well together. I especially liked the reference to "orchestrated hearts." Good choice of words throughout. This is a piece of writing that definitely shows a presence behind it. Take care, and thanks for sharing... =o)
