This eternal struggle;
Falling down a bottomless hole, wrestling with eternity and consequence
My feeble hands struggle against dark claws,
Mind struggling with the ponderings of lies and truth.
Familiar faces in the rocks twist and echo around my downward spiral
Screeches of redemption and faith ring O so painful in my ears
Painful choices,
The human mind in bondage and fetters
Unable to prevent, unable to protect
Shadowy claws sink deeper into freedom's flesh
Incipit slavery
The whispers of demons, the crying out of saints
The subtle art of deception never rang so loudly through the rocky mouth of indecision
Water appears, sharp rocks below
What is my final choice?
Impaling stone of neutrality drives through my broken frame...
Was the choice worth it in the end?
