Life & Death

Life & Death

A Poem by JodiQ

I am life. I am given the memories of past, present...but I am not promised the future of tomorrow for death is always around each coming corner.
For being life I bring happiness , joy, sadness, and sometimes madness.
In life people are dealt a hand at which in some lives, death steals away. For without death , I, life would have no boundaries.
I am death in which I take the memories of past, present, and hold the future. But you life are a treasure. as I am death I hold keys to another world, from your world. For you life are what creates moments, and people choose their paths before you. as they go through life some quietly, others loudly walk their paths into my arms.
You life, hold them as they learn to live . Without Life, I would not be death. For where death roams life emerges. For without life no one can truly live. As I am death, I hold many weeping tears, guilt an anger with sorrows. You are life, and without life I could not be death.
