Little Girl Gone

Little Girl Gone

A Poem by JodiQ

Oh little girl where have you gone?
So far in the past, now driven from age
Once so little
Once just a girl
Oh how I remember you
I remember you as a faded memory
Once small and weak
now grown and strong
I knew you once
How far you've come
How time has separated
Oh once so little a girl
How times kept changing
Now a woman here I'm standing
Old pictures of a girl moments made
That little girl once in fear
Standing now a woman brave
Little girl I say good bye
I tried before not to cry
How far I've come through many doors
Now here a woman I am
No longer that little girl
No longer anymore.
