I can walk this earth with you, beside you, or alone
I have smiled at your face, only too feel a deepness aching
I spoke many words which could fill a million books
I love even at my broken times, because I know my broken wings will never fly
I have felt the sand in my toes, looking across miles of ocean
I have bathed in the rain on sunny days
I continue to show happiness, and fill my moments with memories
I lived in the dreams I've dreamed only to awake in an unknown reality
I have given losses, and I gained wasted hours
I am what I will continue to be, with or without you
For in this God will set me free.
