Inside and Out

Inside and Out

A Poem by JodiQ

As I look between the lines, a smile curves through the mirror
She smiles back with the same reflection
I remember her as though once in a dream
As she knows me by my dreaming
That one woman who has seen what I see
Her laughter over my sadness
She cried the tears when I wiped my eyes
Each step I took, she knows these miles
I know her in between the lines
That woman in the mirror.
