Little Girls Band-aid Wish

Little Girls Band-aid Wish

A Story by JodiQ

"I'm i sick because the world is sick and unwell?" Asked the little girl laying on a bed in the hospital.
The elder lady beside her on another bed gave a grey smile. "I believe it is a possibility."
"Why can't the world get better, so I can get better?"
The elder women tried to smile feeling sad. "Sometimes we can't get better because our bodies don't work well with the worlds sickness I guess."
The little girl frowned. "I wish the world would heal so I won't be sick anymore."
The elder women leaned close. "We all slowly are getting sick some faster than others."
"If I was well, I would give the world a band aid." Spoke the little girl.
The elder women sat back with a tear in her eye. "I would help put another band aid on it with you until the world was better."
"When I die do you think I can still put a band aid on the world and help it get better?" Asked the little girl.
The elder women smiled and spoke. "You can leave as many band aids as you want."
The little girl smiled big. "I think the world needs lots of band aids."
"I think so too." Spoke the women.
"Where will I go when I die?" Whispered the little girl.
the elder women's aged face smiled. "To heaven with Jesus. You won't need a bandaid there."
The little girls eyes got big. "I wish everyone would see Jesus and go to heaven so the world wouldn't need so many band aids ."
A tear came to the elder women again and smiled. "I wish that too."
