Look No More

Look No More

A Poem by Black Rose

Found my way back from a dark dim dream

With the light of the of my new destiny

We are meant for each other, like the sun and the moon

I do not want the passion to burn out too soon

Leaning on a girl with a heart made of glass

Is a test, you won't have to study

I'm certain you will pass

My eyes have seen everything

Craving the words that his lips are always saying

Maybe I'm falling for him, Maybe I'm not

My ears have heard

Every sweet melody, Every word

His lips have ever spoken

If I look no more my heart will not be broken

Pick up the pieces, stop making a mess

Look at yourself, you're a damsel in distress

I can see it in your eyes, just the passion

I know your love is pure and everlasting

Dreams are never deferred if they are true

Or Maybe, just maybe I am asking too much of you

My eyes have seen everything

In half a decade, perhaps a wedding ring

Maybe I'm falling for him, maybe I'm not

or maybe  my ears have heard

Every melody, every word
