TRUE WEALTH

TRUE WEALTH

A Poem by Jonathan Bryant Dean
"

A pause to think of what is really important.

"

Tell me how much money you have,
go on, count it out loud.
Now tell me how you plan to spend it,
does it make you feel proud?

Tell the world how much time you spend,
Go on tick Tock out Proud!
Now how much time is left at the end of your money?
Go on, you can cry out loud.

Who mourns for the dead who want no more,
The grief that is here should be for the poor!
A man with time and no money to spend,
Is happier than a King who has reached his end!

Truth right there, can't argue with that.
You've got a good feeling for words and rythm, I like that. And the rhymes. Sometimes rhymes kills themselves by being repeated and overused, but yours didn't. Nice!

Truth... We came in with nothing, and it's only right we leave with nothing.... Well stated!

Choose how rich we might be (and I ain't!) we can't take a single penny with us when the grim reaper comes for us. Words to ponder.

So much said in so little words! Its so true... their are so many things that money cannot buy, and time is one of the most precious things that we so often waste on useless things or things that when we get older we rather would have thought never happened!

Ah time, who can buy it? strange though how some spend it..this is supposed to be a review but most people comment only.. so here is the review part. short , concise and easy and that's a good thing.

As I always say, all men both rich and poor get the same in the end. Six feet of dirt and they throw it in your face. Far better to help others than to pile up money to leave it for those who do not need it.
