'Childish' Fairy talesA Poem by JonathanWhat ideas and concepts do we feed to our children? Do they corrupt the next generation before they have a chance to be innocent?Childhood fairy tales, so innocent and kind Except when you think about them, here is what you’ll find: A murderous giant at the top of a beanstalk, A cannibalistic old hag, Two little piggies eaten by a wolf, And a caterpillar having a drag. Yet we feed these stories to our children, This is the world we portray, So is it really surprising how far they go astray. © 2017 JonathanAuthor's Note
