Genesis of a New Day

Genesis of a New Day

A Poem by Jonathan Bodnar

Ignored for two millenniums
Quietly gathering an army
He sits upon his throne
Watching his creation drown in tears
Roses wilting at sight of a new genesis
Crystal hearts shattered at the end of day
Shards of hate cast towards his followers
Protected by the love of angels
We continue to deny
No longer can we turn back
We must look to the King of the skies
And hope that we can once again put our faith in Love himself
