Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by Jonathan Bodnar

If time could fold into the ocean,
Then the sun and moon could finally collide,
And all the stars would vanish,
Falling around you like rain on a summers day.
And I would just stand there,
with you in my arms,
Staring into your eyes with love unmatched by any.
And finally we would rise,
Rise above the mountains,
Which all call to your beauty through the wind.
We would be free,
Wings spreed,
And eyes open.
A Freedom searched by millions..
A freedom so beautiful it blinds not the eyes,
But the heart..
