A HOME FOR MY HEART

Finding your heart's a home can be gratifying

My heart needs a home,

to live in for ever,

my heart seeks a home,

to love and for ever.

 

For a home my heart yearns,

one that feels so warm and tender,

and craving so much to earn,

a place that burns gently with amber.

 

This place so beautiful and bright,

shining with love so eternal,

never to be dimmed by night,

but glowing with sweet joy so supernal.

 

A home where flowers are ever springing,

is where my heart wishes to dwell in,

and birds with sweet songs singing,

of the love so glorious that dwells within.

 

For ages my heart roamed,

seeking this lovely place,

Lagos to London, all through' Rome,

with only my heart to keep with the pace.

 

And finally, this home, at last I have found,

now my heart can rest at ease,

to it, will i ever remain bound,

'cos in it, love is all there is.

 

Now with my home to cherish,

and a heart so graceful,

You my love, will i relish

with an undying passion so delightful.
