THE FALLINGA Poem by JolomirWhen all you want too do is to protect herI fall.... Hard. She falls.... Even harder. I seek no safety harness, I just want to hit the cold hard floor, And gladly too, She too seeks no safety gear, But wants her landing cushioned. Same place, our landing we yearn it be. Fear and trepidation clutches at her heart. Still she falls Still, I too fall With the wind running through my hair, Filling me with hope for a soft landing, Not for me alone But for us both So I say this prayer as I fall That I be the cushion she lands upon, When finally we hit the cold hard floor, In love's embrace To sooth all of life's hurts As we fall still Together in LOVE!!! © 2015 Jolomir |
