K-J

This poem was written when my daughter moved interstate from Sydney to Perth.

K-J, I love you and

know that you must go

away from here,

to follow your dreams -

my heart a little emptier.

You've gone and returned

before, but now

maybe you'll settle

this time, your lifestyle

your own, that's best.

The road will be arduous

but you're strong enough

to cope with life

and all it throws your way,

in your search for felicity.

I'm always here,

you are a part of me.
