Disappointment

Disappointment

A Poem by jollypolly2

Disappointment

Disappointment bites

a piece from the heart.

The piece that went

into the work, jarring

the soul, tearing the

membrane of life.

Time the only

balm to soothe

and heal, strengthening

the heart again

ready for another

work, then another.
