Deteriorating FriendshipsA Poem by Jolie BlossomThis poem is about a narcissistic girl who uses and abuses her friend. Just when her friend gains the courage to walk away, she ends up getting sucked back in.
Deteriorating friendships,
So long ago they seem. Breaking from a simple lie, Tearing at the seam. Waking every single day, Just to revisit the past. Proving once again, Of why it didn't last. Crawling back to you again, You just want to hurt her soul. When her heart was broken, You finally received your goal. So close, to you it seems, A friendship just within grasp. Becoming an old memory, To make her collapse and relapse. Overcoming the pain inside, To accept it back in her life. But why do you want to continue To stab someone in the back with a knife? Friendships deteriorating, Transpiring right before your eyes. But your narcissistic ways must die If she must live with compromise.
