Ocean of love

Ocean of love

A Poem by Jolie Blossom
"

A poem I wrote about how falling in love takes you to places you have never been before, and how overwhelmingly beautiful it can be.

"
Dipping my feet into the sparkling salt water
Your currents swiftly carry me gently
I begin to float endlessly away from shore
The world around fades to a pale blue

A sequence of waves colored in oceanic blue
Crash softly against my blushing cheek
Majestically washing my worries away
I sink; drunk on your wondrous tranquility

Bubbles rise from my inflated chest
Sinking into a bottomless abyss
Ajar are my eyes to this marvelous sight
Capture my heart, love, grant me our first kiss

the imagery of drowning in an ocean of love and its softly crashing waves is very well-done

Yes, beautiful as the others have said. It has a certain feel to it. Kind of a... free-flowing feel, almost the same feeling you get when you are in love in the first place.

:) you are good at this!
