The Red Stilletos

The Red Stilletos

A Poem by $teph@nie <3
"

An imagist poem for my creative writing class :]

"

Candy apple, blazing cinnamon, slipped daintly on my feet

clacking proudly down the street

roaches cower in fear

whenever they may come near

a sassy smile painted red upon her lips

such confidence they exude tingling in her finger tips

looking down, people stop in their tracks

pain strikes her toes

but it is worth it because she knows

as she strolls through Times Square

she's on top of the world in this ruby pair.

Awesome!!!:) It really is a great poem!!:) Lol and that picture!!:)

The only thing I can say that could be better is in the first line you should probably change "slipped daintily

on my feet" to "slipped daintily on her feet"

that way it maches the point of view of the rest of the piece:)

But still, really good job!!:)
