Twisted.A Poem by MusterMyMonstersTwisted love storyThese chains that hold me, break me daily, and win, Your smile, it scolds me, shakes me daily, it's such a sin, Your hands they touch me, without feeling, without sensation, The pain you give me, excites me, pure flirtation, Your eyes, they hold sweet despair of hatred, Yet, I find that they look upon me to be so sacred, The claws you grasp me with are frustratingly deep, The promises you make are never intended to keep, Yet, I hold on by the thread of love you spare, Hoping one day the monster I love might care, The flames of the damned burn me so, Being damned is something I'll become to know, The reaping thrills of your sickening love thrusted upon me, Is just the sinister belief that I could truly be free, I no longer lead within my own life, You always looking to me with absolute strife, How twisted my heart has become to love you, And, twisted as I am, you'll always be twisted too.
