The Thorns Of LovelyA Poem by MusterMyMonstersLoveSharp as thick as thorns may be, They aim to protect true beauty,
A rose will forever tell, For whom one loves, and for whom one fell, To be desired, and to be desirably so, A heart can't love what a heart doesn't know, Though at times it may leave you, or come too soon, One can never tell if bad motives loom, A sun may shine, or it may hide, Whichever it is, love comes to mind, It can never be truly good or goodly true, You can only love, how loves comes to you, To love something unknown can't become something great, It can only get worse, with your heart at stake, Though through one may see, that it's neither right nor wrong, But, finding out it was better all along. © 2016 MusterMyMonsters |
