Poised Upon A Beam Of Light

Poised Upon A Beam Of Light

A Poem by ILuvRilke

I find myself curiously devoted to my wounds
Afraid to sleep, afraid to wake, I cannot escape
Those lessons sunk in the formative ditch that was my impulse
Yet with borrowed prayers I am lead away from my past
and in dreams I seek the answers seeking me
As the mind joins the universe through the truths it shapes
