Love like Fire

Love like Fire

A Poem by Johnny Monroe
"

For the natural beauty of women and for the one that keeps me alive

"
She loves like fire in the night
Her words are harmonic and filled with grace
The stars are envious of her radiant light
Unraveling at the sight of her lovely face

We feel the burning sensation in our core
Her hair blinds me in her perpetual glow
Born on the coast of Aphrodite’s shore
Stretching my hand to her chin below

Piercing my lungs like needles is her icy breath
The pores of her skin so soft and delicate
Showering down me like golden rain
Tells a tale of quiet pain

And as her breast gently heaving
My mind slowly unweaving
I see this goddess of perfection
Sinking me into her addiction

Trapping me ever closer to her heart
We beat in warmth and love
Her lips taste of euphoria
Her eyes show me mystery

The heavenly woman in that place
Her beauty elegantly casts in the moonlight
Of her shameless and alluring face
Traps and forsakes me forever in that tender and burning light
