Thoughts

A Poem by johndoenobody

The facade of laughter does nothing but bring on a heartbreaking effect of a tearfully bliss lullaby,

Does it effect you at all knowing you infest my every nightmare wishing all the time to stop the crying,

Every time my eyes close I see myself walking out of heaven and I ask: Where then do i belong?

A life filled with imaginary friends, knowledge being passed down to airless nothings,

The space closing in, these walls suffocate my every breath, taking away the will in which I never had that much of,

A discomfort from being talked down to instead of conversed with,

Scorned and ignored out of a world and time I never really belonged to,

And now my thoughts wonder: Maybe i never did exist....

First line is fine. SEcond line needs "affect". Google "affect" versus "effect". DIfferent denotations. I like the infest part.

"i" is decaps again? It's inconsistent. Leave em all lower or all uppercase.

airless nothings is a stroke of lucky genius on your part. NICE!

Third to last line is banal. Last line is flawless. Really stunning.
