Saying good bye can be hard to do.

It's a poem about giving up addictions.

Alcohol,we need to talk. I don't like you any more. You aren't the fun you pretend to be and you never were. When I'm with you I do things and say things I regret. I can't talk to some people for a few days out of shame,how lame. You'll always be the same. 
 I go through self pity and destruction,not the laughs and fun times you falsely offer. Why do I still hang out with you,I don't want to any more!
Dear Alcohol. I'm ashamed to have ever called you my friend. You're a bad influence,with you even my money is gone. A wide whole of financial despair.my whole body will soon be in a state of disrepair. 
 I can't let you rule over me now. We need to part company and we do it today. May I show the door. One more thing Alcohol,don't the door hit you on the way out!

 Ladies and gentle man. I know what its like to let go of the things that keep you down. Please take the first step. It may be scary at first,I'm doing it too. Don't let fear stop you,you're never alone. Let your loved ones in and let them guide you to a better path.
 If you have some thing about you that's a bad addiction;drink,drugs sex or any thing that is damaging your precious health. Please realise and understand when I say,you only have one body in this life.
 Yes you are capable of so much more. What if I told you that people right now are worried for you? Would you believe me? Then don't take my word for it. Ask a close friend or relative. Reach out to them. You're stronger than you think you are. You'll be surprised at their concerned words. 
 You deserve a better life,but hears the catch. You must want it and feel deep down you need it. You can do it. Say this to your self...YOU can do it!...now say I CAN do it! Now believe it.
 My friend,I know you are hurting inside or even hurting your self. Be open about what you are doing. We can support each other. We are better,stronger and more determined together. This is some thing no one can do alone. You don't need to be alone.
 Now start living stop existing. Life is for living not hiding your self away. I know you CAN do this. Just let your friends and loved ones in,hell talk to me if you need to. Please stop destroying your self.
 
You are so much more to so much more. Thank you for coming friends.
