Heartless

Heartless

A Poem by Hatchling

Does anyone know what is going on or is it just me who notices?

Why are you taking away your children’s child hood? Do you see that your soul is evil and your heart is so cold. Is it safe to call you heartless?

When are you going to learn that every time when a child cries for you it wants to be loved. Each time when you yell at the child you later end up laughing in their faces. When you say that they are prettier than the other it hurts her fellow family members like being shot in the heart.

Is it safe to call you heartless?

When will you understand that your child is a human being and not a doll? When will you stop shoving your dreams down

your child throats?

When will you let them be kids and not dolls?  Is it safe call you heartless?
