Life itself is like 

A treasure 

Some not so easy

On the eyes 

And some pleasing 

Life is a journey all in

It's own

Each step we take 

Is another step forward 

Sometimes it can put 

Us a step behind 

But we keep on 

Moving on with our lives 

It's easy to say that 

Not many people can 

Tell their life story 

Without someone being there

To listen 

Without even realizing it 

We tend to take things 

For granted 

But after that one thing is 

Gone, it's gone 

It's funny of 

How time itself 

Can catch up on us 

And make us reflect

On the good and the bad 

Life may not be easy 

But it's what we make it
